Cutting-Edge Tech Joins India’s May 7 Defense Simulation
India will conduct a nationwide civil defence mock drill on May 7, 2025, across 244 districts, simulating wartime scenarios to enhance emergency preparedness. The exercise will incorporate technologies such as augmented reality for real-time situational awareness, drones and UAVs for surveillance and supply delivery, mobile applications for disseminating alerts and evacuation routes, and cybersecurity measures to protect critical infrastructure. These integrations aim to ensure both civilians and emergency responders are well-prepared for potential threats.
